2007/2008 SEASON TRYOUTS:
Tryouts are held in June, July, August and at the end of the USYSA Seasonal Year for U-9 thru U-19 age players that will play in the following Fall/Spring season.  Ongoing tryouts are also conducted at the discretion of the Team Coach and/or Coaching Director.  Please contact each team’s coach/manager about ongoing tryouts.

TRYOUT GUIDELINES: The TAP Policy Manual sets forth the basis for the tryout procedure and selection process. As set forth in such Guidelines, the selection of players for teams is based on a number of factors, which include (in priority order) Technical Skills, Athletic Ability, Speed, Ball handling, Field Sense, Teamwork,  Insight, Personality, Physical Maturity, “Coachability”, Aggressiveness, Agility, Attendance record, Attitude, and Commitment.

TAP REAL BOYS U-18 (Players born 8/1/89 and younger)  -  TAP is looking for highly skilled and committed players to TRYOUT for the 2007 Fall Boys U-18/19 team.  The team will play in the NCSL, and USYSA Region I League.  ONGOING TRYOUTS - PLAYERS INTERESTED IN TRYING OUT, PLEASE EMAIL THE COACH OR MANAGER.

TAP SANTOS BOYS U-17 (Players born 8/1/90 and younger) –  TAP is looking for highly skilled and committed players to TRYOUT for the 2007 Fall Boys U-17 team.  The team will play in the NCSL, USYSA Region I Leagues. TAP AJAX BOYS U-16 (Players born 8/1/91 and younger) –  TAP is looking for highly skilled and committed players to TRYOUT for the 2007 Fall Boys U-16 team.  The team will play in the NCSL, and USYSA Region I League. TAP BARCELONA BOYS U-13 (Players born 8/1/94 and younger) –  TAP is looking for highly skilled and committed players to TRYOUT for the 2007 Fall Boys U-13 team.  The team will play in the NCSL, and USYSA Region I League. TAP tryouts are open to all children living or attending school in Fairfax County, including the Washington DC Metropolitan area, in the appropriate age division, and are publicized in the local newspaper and on this website.
